Key to my Heart… The Keyhole Neckline Dress
Summer has well and truly arrived, and the temperatures are soaring. I’ve been reaching for light dresses to get me through the heat in style. Number 9 Fashion’s dresses are a mainstay of my wardrobe thanks to their combination of elegance with comfort.
The keyhole neckline dress features cap sleeves, a fitted bodice that flares out to a full pleated skirt, and a scoop neckline with delicate keyhole detailing around the neckline. I really love the keyhole details, they are an elegant addition that adds a touch of glamour to the dress.
I’m a size 12 and my usual Size Large fits perfectly. The fabric is a light cotton blend that is comfortable and slightly stretchy, which is perfect for the warmer months. The skirt is a beautiful swishy full skirt that hits just below the knee for me (I’m 155cm tall).
The Keyhole neckline dress comes in three prints that I’m styling for different occasions, the white wild flowers print, the white and blue china print and the black red and white floral print.
First is the white wildflowers print that features bouquets of red, orange, grey and pink on a crisp white background. It’s a breath of fresh air and I styled it for a lazy Sunday of brunch and shopping. I paired this with black accessories to match with the black detailing in the print. I think this would also look great with red, orange or grey accessories to compliment the colours of the print.
Second is the white and blue china print which I styled for a formal event. This print is a delicate design with blue blossoms inspired by Ming dynasty pottery art. The blue is a bright cobalt blue that contrasts beautifully with the white background. I styled this with a matching blue belt and shoes. I think this would also look beautiful with white, grey or contrasting red accessories.
Third is the black red and white floral print which I styled for work. This print is a bold print that features large red, orange, and white poppies on a black background. I paired this with tan accessories for a sophisticated summery look but I think this would look great with red, black, orange or white accessories.
All of these dresses are available on Number 9 Fashion’s website.
Let me know in the comments which look is your favourite.

Are your sizes true to size is a size 14 fit a size 14?

Hello Jenny, there really are no standards with sizing unfortunately. We have tried to make “our 14/XL” as similar to average a what we could see in Australia.
Our size charts though are accurate down to the last millimetre and still represent the best way to get the perfect fit. :-)
